I turn technology into competitive advantage. Over 15 years of leading digital strategy, M&A integration, cybersecurity transformation, and enterprise AI adoption across five continents. I translate complex technology decisions into commercial outcomes for Boards, investors, and executive teams.
Technology leadership measured in commercial outcomes, not just system uptime.
Appointed as primary technology advisor to the Board, shifting IT perception from back-office cost centre to strategic partner in global expansion. Architected and delivered a 3-year “Digital First” roadmap that unified fragmented regional silos into one global platform.
→ IT directly contributed to international market entry speedCreated a comprehensive Information Security Management System in an organisation with no prior formal framework. Deployed technical guardrails alongside a behavioural change programme that transformed security culture across the global workforce.
→ Achieved Cyber Essentials Plus · Reduced insurance premiums · Satisfied external auditsLed the enterprise-wide deployment of Microsoft Copilot and custom AI agents across marketing, sales, store fronts, and back office. Not a pilot, but a coordinated global rollout with governance, training, and measurable adoption.
→ AI embedded into daily workflows across 4 business functionsDeveloped a repeatable M&A technology playbook covering due diligence, security auditing, and rapid domain migration. Eliminated shadow IT and redundant licensing within 90 days of each acquisition close.
→ Significant redundant licensing eliminated · Repeatable playbook for future acquisitionsLed an end-to-end ERP modernisation integrated with a Power BI reporting layer, giving the Board real-time access to production and financial KPIs via mobile dashboards, replacing a manual month-end process that previously took days.
→ Month-end close accelerated · Real-time Board KPIs enabledArchitected a “Cloud-First” transition from fragmented on-premises infrastructure to a hybrid Azure/AWS environment, standardised with Infrastructure as Code across all global regions.

I led the enterprise-wide deployment of Microsoft Copilot and custom Copilot Agents across global operations. This wasn’t a sandbox experiment. It was a coordinated rollout across four business functions, multiple regions, and hundreds of users, underpinned by a governance framework I designed.
The agents were configured to automate multi-step workflows, retrieve contextual information from internal systems, and provide intelligent support embedded directly into operational processes, creating measurable efficiency gains without increasing headcount.
This sits within a broader AI/LLM enablement strategy that includes RAG architectures and fine-tuning approaches, ensuring the organisation is positioned for the next wave of AI capability, not just reacting to the current one.
Content velocity increased, campaign analysis accelerated, audience insights generated at pace, without adding headcount.
Pipeline management automated, CRM data quality improved, client materials generated, freeing the team to sell.
Real-time product knowledge, customer query resolution, and operational reporting at the point of service.
Document processing, financial reporting, and data summarisation automated, reducing manual effort and error rates at volume.
Progressive technology leadership across five sectors: manufacturing & global distribution, oil & gas, media & advertising, insurance & finance, and consulting.
Strategic decision-maker with hands-on depth across the full technology landscape.
Selected themes from my writing and advisory work.
My position: Technology leadership isn’t about managing systems. It’s about shaping how a business competes. The technology leader’s job is to make technology decisions that the Board can see in the P&L, not just in an uptime dashboard. Every infrastructure investment, every security programme, every AI deployment should be traceable to a commercial outcome: faster market entry, reduced risk exposure, or a capability the competition doesn’t have.
On the gap between AI experimentation and operational deployment, and why governance is the missing ingredient.
Why technical controls alone fail, and how behavioural change programmes deliver lasting risk reduction.
On making the commercial case for technology investment in language that resonates with CEOs and investors.
Applying technology leadership beyond the enterprise to solve real-world problems across legal tech and energy.
A RAG-powered legal intelligence platform designed to democratise access to constitutional law for the general public, streamline case management for law firms, and provide decision-support tooling for the judiciary. A direct application of applied AI, LLM enablement, and RAG architecture in a public-impact context.
